Punches to the face and kicks to the groin are two of the best components of awesome fights, but sometimes, it takes a little sneakery to pwn your opponents. And who knows how to dish some good ol’ sneakery better than the God of Mischief himself, Loki! In fact, there was this one time, at Avengers Mansion…

This Loki character, what a sneakerer. His sneakery knows no bounds. Just ask the Falcon and his bird sidekick, who apparently joins him in the bathroom every time he takes a shower.

I recently saw the latest straight-to-DVD movies from DC and Marvel (Superman Doomsday and Doctor Strange, respectively), and here’s what I think:

Superman Doomsday - It’s a gazillion times better than Superman Returns. Seriously. The Superman-Doomsday fight scene was awesome (Doomsday powerbombing Superman brought tears to my eyes). Doomsday is genuinely scary. He wasn’t entirely focused on Superman during the fight. He tried to kill everything that was moving every time he got the chance. And what makes him more menacing is he doesn’t speak. He’s just an unstoppable killing machine. Love it.

If you haven’t heard yet, I love zombies. So much so that I decided to dedicate a category just for these awesome undead. If there’s anything I love more than zombies, it’s superhero zombies… IN SPAAAACE! That’s why my Face-Rocking Read of the Week is the first issue of Marvel Zombies 2, the sequel to the highly successful mini-series released in 2005. What makes it awesome, besides the involvement of superhero zombies IN SPAAAACE, is the face-melting twist: there’s a way to stop the hunger. Also, the superhero space zombies eat Ego the Living Planet. Good times.

I’ve waited months between reading Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 of Y: The Last Man and it’s worth it. I read Vol. 1-3 again before reading Vol. 4 and it’s the best reading experience I’ve had in a very long time. I love the pop culture references, as well as the clean art. It just gets better and better every volume. Everybody should be reading this awesome piece of literature. Seriously.
