ITEM! Heath Ledger wins Screen Actors Guild Best Performance by a Supporting Actor award! That’s two (the other one being the Golden Globe award) posthumous wins for Ledger for his Joker portrayal in The Dark Knight. So far. The third and biggest one is right around the corner and the Internet can’t wait to say “I told you so!”

ITEM! Shareholders of Stan Lee Media Inc. sue The Man! Aside from Stan Lee, defendants include Arthur Lieberman, Avi Arad and Marvel Entertainment Inc. The suit claims profits from ALL of Lee’s comic creations, including Marvel movies. Riiiight.

ITEM! Tomb Raider is returning to the big screen! It’s too early to say anything about the plans to reboot Lara Croft and her tomb raidery, but I do like the rumor about Megan Fox taking over the green tank top. That would be sweet.

ITEM! Neil Gaiman wins the Newbery Medal for The Graveyard Book and announces that Neil Jordan will write and direct the movie adaptation of the book! YAY NEILS!

ITEM! NBC.com and Habbo announces a new virtual Heroes character! Well, that’s nice. It would have been awesome if people still give a crap about the show. SNAP!

ITEM! Fox assembles an A-Team for the A-Team! Yeah, that was confusing. What I’m trying to say is Fox has just assembled a creative team for the A-Team movie which I’m hoping will have a Charlie’s Angels degree of success in the modern pop culture environment. I loved the TV show so, yeah. Bring it, Fox!

ITEM! After 14 years of existence, Witchblade finally gets an annual! I don’t really follow the comic, and I haven’t seen a single episode of the canceled TV show, but I think it’s nice that a book outside DC and Marvel is getting an annual.
