Before I explain why there’s a new post on this here blog after I put it to sleep half a year ago, let me just greet all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! *cue fireworks*

Yes, thank you, Jubilee. That’s just… inappropriate.

I truly hope all of us will have a better year in 2009. Not that I’m saying we had an awful 2008. I had a fairly awesome 2008. Nothing wrong with hoping for better things in life, right? Also, I wanted to bring in DOOM to help me greet you, but after last year’s fiasco, I thought it best to just leave him out of it.

Now, about this apparent resurrection of Face Rockery. I may be cutting down on monthly comics, but I’m more excited about blogging about comics and pop culture now than ever before. I can do this on my personal blog, Baddieverse, but I’m thinking bringing Face Rockery back will give me more room for blogging about the geeky things I love. Like people in colorful costumes beating the crap out of each other.

So, it’s a brand new year and it’s a brand new beginning for Face Rockery. I’m thinking I should take care of unfinished business first before I dive right into the new stuff. For the next three days, I’ll be posting 3 blog entries that I didn’t get to publish because I shut this blog down before their set publish dates. And after that, who knows? Let’s rock face, shall we?
