The Order: It’s Over
Yeah, she’s gone. And by “she”, I mean Matt Fraction and Barry Kitson’s kickass monthly series featuring California’s Initiative team, The Order. The final issue of the awesome series bowed last week. It’s over.
Thank you, Matt, for giving us rich new characters. I’m sure they’ll turn up sooner or later in other Marvel books, but still. You hardly scratched the surface on these characters and they showed so much potential. Anyway, I would also like to thank you for the wonderful gift of jet pack Russian bears and zombie hobos.
Thank you also, Barry, for the fantastic pencils and art breakdowns. I wasn’t familiar with your work before you melted my face with this book, but I’ll surely look out for your future masterpieces.
It’s sad that it only lasted for 10 issues, but hey, we shouldn’t cry over spilled milk. OR A DEAD MULHOLLAND BLACK! Ahem. Yeah. I’m deeply affected by this. Now leave me alone!
