A Brand New Spidey
That’s basically Marvel Comics right now in the context of Spider-Man’s recent overhaul. OK, first, if you haven’t heard of One More Day, you’ve been living under a rock in a non geeky planet in another dimension.
Anyway, yeah. Rabid fans are all over Marvel for the Spidey reset, but after reading Amazing Spider-Man #546, the first issue of Brand New Day, I think it’ll shut up some of them.
I don’t really follow Spider-Man comics, so I practically don’t care about the OMD controversy. However, I do care about BND now. I mean, come on. That first issue is gold. I’m going to stick with the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man book maybe for a couple of months, just to give it a shot. You should too… IF YOU DON’T WANT MUGGER SPIDEY TO POP A CAP IN YO’ ASS!

Solid Writing? Tight Art? Sorry but i don’t buy it at all. Just read the issue and its a repeat of what was done before but with out the originality or flare and Peter was never this pathetic. Wake me up when they recon this mess and Peter grows up to be a man who loves his wife and accepts responsibility, not the spoiled brat we see in this issue who has mommy issues and can’t get a date.

Seems to me you’re not against the writing and the art, but the editorial direction the book is taking. I agree with you on the mess they’ve done on Spidey’s continuity, but come on. Objectively speaking, the first issue of BND is OK.
