So 20th Century Fox is making a Street Fighter movie that focuses on Chun-Li, right? Kristin Kreuk is starring. Yeah. Awesome. I mean, it’s awesome that we’ll get to see her throwing punches and kicking people in the face while being inhumanly pretty, but the awesomeness of the whole movie is an entirely different matter. Let’s take a short look at the other players of the film, shall we?
Screenwriter: Justin Marks. He also wrote the upcoming movies Voltron: Defender of the Universe and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I like the dude already.
Director: Andrzej Bartkowiak. He directed Doom, starring The Rock. Hmm. I dunno. I mean, I didn’t hate Doom, but I didn’t find it spectacular either. Let’s just cross our fingers on this one.
I’m not completely sold about Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li being a kickass movie, but hey, it stars Kristin Kreuk. She’s got the acting chops, she can get physical (she’s been thrown around by Kryptonians and meteor freaks in Smallville, after all), and she’s smokin’ hot! I say she’s a good choice for the character.
Yep. Low expectations on the story and direction, but dayyyum I’m so gonna expect Kristin to be ridiculously hot and unbelievably awesome when she dispenses Lightning Legs and Spinning Bird Kicks. SRSLY.

I agree. Kreuk is an excellent choice! I think she’s a lot hotter than she gets credit for.

I think she is. But to better answer your query, I’ll watch seasons 1-6 of Smallville. You know, just to be sure.
