ITEM! Wizard lays off Sean T. Collins! And the devastating aftermath involves comics bloggers blogging about it. I’d like to say more but I don’t really read any Wizard stuff anymore. So, yeah. Meh.
ITEM! Spidey gives Youssif a spider-hug! The 5-year old Iraqi boy spent a day in Universal Studios where he met Spider-Man, Captain America, other superheroes, and even the villainous Green Goblin! Youssif is probably a mutant with telepathic powers. He knew that the Spidey in front of him wasn’t the real one. Awesome.
ITEM! Marv Wolfman leaves Nightwing for Vigilante! A new series will star a new Vigilante who Wolfman describes as “different from your average DCU hero in many, many ways.” Is Vigilante a transvestite? Dun dun DUNNN!!!
ITEM! The “Arena” is open! You can vote for characters from all over the DC Multiverse, and the votes will reflect in December’s Countdown Arena. I wish they had included more characters or more variations of the big four, though.
