Here’s a funny story:

I’ve had several experiences before wherein I braved ridiculous traffic while ignoring hunger just to get my new comics from my LCS, only to be told that the shipment was late and I had to go back the next day. This past week though, I knew ahead of time that the shipment would be delayed. I talked to the clerks via SMS and I confirmed that the shipment was indeed late. So instead of going to the shop on Thursday, I went on Friday. But alas! I was told I had to go back Saturday after lunch! Screw that! I’ll just get it when I pick up next week’s haul. I’m lazy like that.

Not really a funny story, but who cares? Anyway, since I don’t have new comics to review this week, I’ll just talk about my stash and my pull list.

I spent a few days “stashing” my comics at StashMyComics.com, a site that lets you keep track of your collection, and it also provides the current market value for it. Nothing fancy. You can view my public stash, as well as others’, which is kinda cool. What makes me sad though is by doing an inventory of my collection, I noticed that I’m missing some of my old comics. I don’t know where my mid-90’s comics are! Bah.

As for my pull list…

  • Annihilation: Conquest - Quasar
  • Annihilation: Conquest - Star-Lord
  • Annihilation: Conquest - Wraith
  • Astonishing X-Men
  • Avengers: The Initiative
  • Brave & the Bold

  • Immortal Iron Fist
  • Incredible Hulk
  • Justice Society of America
  • Mighty Avengers
  • New Avengers: Illuminati

At least you have a valid reason for delayed reviews, unlike me lol.

Where do you buy your comics?

I usually just download what I’m gonna buy anyway if they come out late, but nothing beats sitting down and reading ‘em first hand.

I buy my comics from ComicQuest in Festival Mall, Alabang. I’m always tempted to just download them, but you’re right. Nothing beats the smell of new comics and reading them in your undies. Forget I said that.

I get mine from Comic Odyssey at Galle or Robinsons Manila.

You read comics in your undies too? High five!
