I’m now retiring Midweek Showcase, my short-lived blog series that supposedly features face-rocking images and videos every Wednesday, as a result of my lame excuse to slack off in this blog. Please join me in revisiting the four glorious weeks of this stupid blog series:

Week 1: As an excuse to ogle Laura Vandervoort, I featured her in her first official Smallville photo. Yeah, she’s super hot.

Week 2: I featured a Mike Mignola teaser poster for Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. I wouldn’t mind if Mignola will do the posters for the film. That’ll be cool.

Week 3: Dedicated to Mike Wieringo who passed away recently, I featured an image of Dr. Doom that he did. RIP, Ringo.

Week 4: The only video in the series features drunk superheroes (and a villain) talking about their movies. The last call for Midweek Showcase booze.
