I saw Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer last Friday night and I think it’s far better than the first FF movie, which isn’t really saying much. I was so distracted by Jessica Alba’s hotness and weird contacts. WTF’s up with that?! Also, to that cosmic cloud they call “Galactus“, I say “booo!” I mean, come on! They pulled off a silver surfer dude, but they can’t do a giant purple dude? Bah!
Anyway, since I’m in the mood for talking about comic book movies, I just found out that Nick Fury is rumored to appear in the upcoming Iron Man live-action movie set to debut next year.
No, not that Nick Fury. This Nick Fury:
Samuel L. muddaeffin’ Jackson! Awesome, right? I hope the rumor’s true. And I hope Nick Fury’s LMDs (Life Model Decoys) will appear, and I hope one of them looks like David Hasselhoff and it gets destroyed by a nuclear weapon. That alone will be worth the price of admission.

He does. If you had stayed to the end of the credits in Iron Man you would have found that Samuel L. Jackson all ready makes an appearance as Nick Fury. It pays to stay to the very last second in moves nowadays, I’m so glad that I did.
@Glenn Marc: Well if you paid attention to the date of this blog post, you’ll realize that it was written BEFORE the movie was released and I was talking about the RUMOR about Nick Fury’s appearance. Ass.
As a life long comic book nerd and real Iron man FAN. I don’t know if anyone notice that Nick Fury, the leader of The Avenger was not Black as at the end of the movie (After the credits). And Iron man did not have a sidekick, although Actor Terrence was excellent. They already ruined the sequal by changing "Rhodie" and now they will change Fury
to Dumb ass Samuel L. Jackson. I will not see it.
dude. hes ultimate Nick Fury, who is in fact black, and actually was patterned to look like Sam Jackson in the first place.
if you dont like Ultimate Nick Fury than fine, but know this, regular Nick Fury was never the leader of the Avengers, like you seem to think.
Ultimate Nick Fury on the other hand , created the Ultimates ( ultimate universes avengers counter-part) and they are a sub-group of SHIELD.
